The Cabin is tucked into the woods for privacy and provides a great place to relax, especially if you like to enjoy a Hot Tub after a great day of hiking, fishing, site seeing or sking on and around Mt. Rainier. The local rivers are usually teaming with fish and a few local stores providing tackle and bait during the fishing season. Copper Creek, Skate Creek, Bear Creek just to name a few, plus there are a few really great lakes to fish and some that are so secluded they have to be hiked to. The scenery around this area is spectacular at any time of the year. The mountains and streams are breathtaking. When you want to get out and eat a great meal, there are several Restaurants close by that are absolutely fantastic. ALEXANDERS COUNTRY INN
COPPER CREEK INN This restaurant has been a highlight on the road to Mt. Rainier for the past sixty years. It was originally built as a stopover for truck drivers and park workers. The barn red log building has seen a lot of Mt. Rainier history and shows it inside. The Copper Creek Inn offers a variety of home cooked meals and I mean MEALS. They also serve a really great breakfast fare. They have fresh bread baked on the premises and the cafe is renowned for its Blackberry Pies. THE GATEWAY Located just outside the Nisqually entrance to the Mt. Rainier National Park, The Gateway has a restaurant and a mini-mart. The kitchen at The Gateway offers a range of chicken and steak entrees. The Gateway also opens for breakfast with traditional American favorites and they also offer a special Teriyaki Chicken.
